Vesel’chaki (Jolly Fellows) is a film about “travesty” performers in contemporary Moscow. The film follows the individual, and highly unstereotypical lives of five professional drag performers, best friends who work together in a Moscow club. The film captures their lives both in drag and out of it in a combination highly realistic and blissfully fantastic sequences.
